CAM Advisory Councils

Dean’s Advisory Council (DAC)  The DAC is a group of dedicated community members, lovers of the arts and leaders in the Colorado’s creative industries who have committed to helping the College of Arts & Media continue to push forward and engage with local organizations, forge community partnerships, and raise money for important initiatives.

Student Advisory Council (SAC)  The SAC is comprised of students from each of CAM’s three departments who meet with Dean Kaptain monthly to share their unique experiences, provide feedback on changes and priorities they would like to see implemented and represent the student body to ensure the student voice is an active at the table in the college’s important initiatives.

Parent Advisory Group  The Parent Advisory Group will consist of several parents of CAM students from all three departments to provide insight and recommendations to leadership in regards to student recruitment, fundraising and scholarships, potential community connections and ensuring CAM students are provided with the most meaningful experience at CU Denver.

International Student Group  The International Student Group will focus its efforts on CAM’s international students in understanding the particular, challenging and unique experiences they face both in education and socially while pursuing a degree in the United States, with the goal of better supporting the international student experience and contributing to increased international recruitment.
