Sean Coetzee was only one year away from completing his Master of Science in Recording Arts emphasis in Media Forensics (MSMF) degree when his life was quickly and unexpectedly cut short due to a late cancer diagnosis.
To honor Sean's legacy, the Sean P. Coetzee Memorial Scholarship Fund aids students who demonstrate a propensity towards ethics in media forensics and carries on the legacy of Sean who cared deeply about the field. Sean was passionate about media forensics and concerned with preserving a high level of ethics in the field. We know he would be pleased with the opportunity to help other students who are pursuing the same work. We hope that you will join us in honoring Sean.
At Fall 2014 Commencement, Sean Coetzee was awarded a posthumous degree. We continue to celebrate the many contributions he made to the program, the field, and our community.
We need your help to continue to honor Sean's success in media forensics and ensure that future students are given the opportunity to study the field about which Sean was so passionate.
