LYNX Camp Pricing

2024 Camp Pricing

  • One Week Camps: $600 (includes weekday camp programming from 9:00-4:30 and lunch at City Heights Dining Hall) 
  • Two Week Camps - Commuter Student:  $1,200 (includes weekday camp programming from 9:00-4:30 and lunch at City Heights Dining Hall) 
  • Two Week Camps - Commuter-Plus Student: $1,800 (includes weekday camp programming from 9:00-8:00 and includes lunch and dinner at City Heights Dining Hall. Also includes optional weekend programming and field trips.)
  • Two Week Camps - Residential: $2,500  (includes all camp programming, housing in our residence halls, and all meals at the camp. Weekend and evening programming is included.)

    All Residential rooms are Double Rooms. If a Residential camper requests a Single Room in City Heights, they will need to pay an additional fee of $200 for LYNX Camp Tuition. 

    If a Residential camper requests a Single Room due to a medical accommodation, the additional $200 fee is waived.

    We encourage all students to apply for the camps even if the costs listed above are more than your family can afford. Please see our scholarship section below for information about how we provide lots of need-based scholarships that make the camps accessible for all students. There is a need-based scholarship section on the camp application. 

    PAYMENT INFORMATION

    Deposit Due- A deposit in the amount of half the total camp cost will be due on May 1st. We will email admitted students around mid to late March with information about how to pay the deposit. 
     

    Remaining Balance Due- One week prior to Camp.

     

    SCHOLARSHIPS

    Apply for scholarships! Apply through the general LYNX Camp application. Significant need-based scholarships are available to students who apply by our March 15th priority deadline.

    The goal of our camp is to make it accessible to all students who apply by the priority deadline. Our need-based scholarships help students from low-income and financially-burdened families to be able to attend the camp. A huge thank you to our sponsors for making these scholarships possible!

     

    REDUCED TUITION

    We will likely be able to provide reduced camp tuition to students who meet any of the following criteria:

    • A parent, guardian, or grandparent is an employee of the University of Colorado Denver.
    • Two or more students from the same family will be attending LYNX Camp programs this summer.
    • A student will be attending more than one LYNX Camp program this summer.
    • A student recruits a friend to come to the camp with them. 

    If any of these situations apply to you, please list it in the need-based scholarship section on the LYNX Camp application. We will take it into consideration when awarding your scholarship. 

    Additionally, when a former LYNX Camp student applies for college at CU Denver, the CU Denver Admissions Office waives the $50 application fee for any student who attended one of the LYNX Camps! Attending the camp will save you money when you apply to CU Denver during your senior year!


    REFUND POLICY

    Refunds are provided under the following rules. Deposits of half the camp cost will be due by May 1st. The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining camp tuition is due by one week prior to the start of the camp. If a student leaves camp (for non-disciplinary reasons) prior to the second day of the camp, we will refund one-fourth of the total tuition amount. After the second day of the camp, we won't refund any money if a student leaves the camp except in rare, unusual situations. Please note that no refunds are provided when a student is removed from camp for disciplinary reasons (see camp registration forms for more information).
