CAM FACULTY DEVELOPMENT GRANTS

PURPOSE OF CAM FACULTY DEVELOPMENT GRANTS

The Purpose of CAM Faculty Developement Grants (FDG) is to:

  • support full-time faculty to create and disseminate creative and scholarly work (which encompasses the scholarship of teaching and learning) and to participate on board-level service to national and international arts related professional bodies relative to the requestor's appointment, and
  • incentivize faculty to enliven CU Denver's Strategic Plan 2030, with emphasis on becoming the nation's first equity-serving institution.

 

Eligibility

  • Open to all full-time faculty, with a weighted emphasis on those whose contracts include scholarly and creative work expectations: tenure-track, tenured, and teaching track.
  • Limited funds are available to Lecturers.

 

CU Denver Travel Policies:

All employee domestic and international travel must be approved prior to booking a trip. For domestic travel not related to a Faculty Development Grant, you must obtain approval via the  FY24: CAM Travel Authorization Request All international travel must be approved using Concur Request. Note that you will need to enter your approved Request ID to finalize your international reservation and reconcile any expenses.

The annual budget allocation for Faculty Development Grants is determined by the Dean.

 

REPORTING AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS 

If you are funded, you must acknowledge the College of Arts & Media in all print and online materials and include the CAM logo where appropriate. Please review the guidelines and requirements for outcome reporting. Within 60 Days of project completion, grant recipients must submit an outcomes report.
