Colorado High School Film Festival

2026 Colorado High School Film Festival

The Colorado High School Film Festival is back for year three in 2026! The festival is an opportunity for high school filmmakers to showcase their films and win prizes. This year, we are excited to partner with the Colorado Scholastic Art Awards. Through this partnership, Colorado students can submit films through the Scholastic Arts application portal to qualify for both the Scholastic Arts film awards and the CU Denver Colorado High School Film Festival.

The deadline to apply is January 6, 2026.

We are still accepting films for the Colorado High School Film Festival from high school filmmakers outside of the state of Colorado. Students from outside of Colorado can apply using our festival page on the FilmFreeway website.
