Kyser capos are known as “the world’s most trusted capo” with a strong customer base of guitarists and songwriters around the world. Through a partnership with CU Denver’s College of Arts & Media, the Texas-based company is supporting musicians by providing a free capo to each songwriting student in the college’s Music & Entertainment Industry Studies department.

A capo is an essential tool for songwriters, allowing them to change keys quickly and create unique chord voicing. In addition to picks, capos are found in the guitar cases of most professional players. For students who play the guitar, receiving a capo at the start of a new school year is a big plus.

Each of CU Denver’s 62 songwriting students will receive a white capo featuring CU Denver’s logo. As they perform at venues throughout the Denver metro area, work on new songs, and learn the art of songwriting in their classes, CU Denver’s songwriting students will continue to create wonderful music thanks to the support of Kyser.
