The Music Theory and Ear Training Best Fit Assessment for incoming CU Denver MEIS Department students is used to advise students about which music theory and ear training/sight singing classes to take during their first semester.
Proficiency testing in the MEIS department allows students to test out of courses in Music Theory and Ear Training and Sight Singing. If interested in proficiency testing, please reach out directly to Evan Shelton at evan.shelton@ucdenver.edu.

Ensembles are strongly encouraged for all Audition Track, Performance and Singer/Songwriter students.
