LYNX Camp 2024 was a summer like no other. Our camp attendees created innovative animations, hilarious films, and moving music. We couldn't make LYNX Camp happen without our Lynx Leaders, instructors, teaching assistants, and of course, the campers.
All camps were held in-person and we are happy to continue offering the Residential option for our two-week camps. We offered eight different programs were offered this summer–– 2D Animation/Illustration, Audio Production/Ableton Live, Comic Book Character Design, Photography, Music Industry, Animation, Filmmaking, and Visual Immersive Art.

In order to allow access to all students no matter what their economic background, LYNX Camp awards need-based scholarships to families that otherwise may not be able to afford the camps. This year the LYNX Camps awarded 116 need-based scholarships (38% of the camp population) plus offered multiple forms of additional discounts. Much of the scholarship money awarded comes from our generous donations and partnerships in the community. This year’s LYNX Camp received around $26,800 in scholarship support from grants, donors, and partner programs. Big thanks to Denver Public Schools Career Connect, Minds Matter of Colorado, Meow Wolf Convergence Station, Colorado Film Commission, and Denver Arts & Venues!
LYNX Camp consistently receives extremely positive feedback from both students and parents and this year was no different.
93% of parents and 98% of the students stated on the post-camp survey that they have a better impression or the same good impression of the College of Arts & Media after attending the camp.
93% of parents and 97% of students strongly agree or agree that they would recommend LYNX Camp to other high school students.
