The Visual Arts Alumni Panel at RedLine Contemporary Art Center took place on Friday, May 13th, hosted by Theo Edmonds, Associate Dean for Transdisciplinary Research & Innovation.

(Westword) The production of CAM alum and Denver rapper Jelie’s new mental health-centered single, “Cope,” took longer than she anticipated, so the song is coming out rather late in Mental Health Awareness Month.

The University of Colorado Board of Regents will award Tenzing Rigdol an Honorary Doctorate degree on May 3, 2022. Rigdol, one of the world’s most prolific contemporary Tibetan artists, is an alumnus of University of Colorado Denver’s College of Arts & Media.

Student Autumn Cierra says photography helped her "develop an understanding about the way the world works and how we as humans interact with it." Graduating this spring with her BFA, Autumn has already launched her own business.

The University of Colorado Denver is pleased to present the "Visual Arts BFA Exhibition 2022". This exhibition features artwork, design and 3D animation from the graduating class of 2022 and is open at RedLine Contemporary Art Center April 30–May 14.

"CAM allowed me to be incredibly flexible with what I wanted to do...I found out I loved photography because of CAM’s encouragement to experiment," Sebastien Chiu ('20) says. A Film & Television major, Chiu eventually found his professional calling as a freelance consultant who focuses on publicity and community management in the high-end consumer audio industry.

"The visual arts have a way of reflecting the human condition while communicating indescribable sensations, ideas and states of experience that would otherwise be impossible to convey," says CAM alum Scottie Burgess '16.

The show is curated by Visual Arts alum Sharifa Moore, an independent curator and executive director of Denver Digerati.

Molly Farrell White went from film school at CU Denver straight into professional camera work. White credits the collaborative nature of CAM with helping her prepare for the fast-paced environment of real-world filmmaking.

Kelly O'Keefe ('17) studied music business during her time in CAM. She works for Live Nation - Rockies, which comes with some pretty incredible perks.

"The Fantasy Show " features new artworks produced by Museum of Outdoor Art Design and Build Fellow Tiffany Matheson '15 and 2021 Artists in Residence Scottie Burgess '18.

Jasmine Cisneros '21 is a Set Dressing Technical Director Resident at Pixar and a graduate of the College of Arts & Media. Cisneros earned dual degrees in Illustration and 3D Graphics and Animation. She also earned a minor in Creative Writing.

The College of Arts & Media (CAM) grads produced and directed the award-winning and internationally acclaimed film, “Liyana.” A visually stunning, genre-defying documentary, “Liyana” was born from projects the Kopps began as student
