PURPOSE OF CAM FACULTY DEVELOPMENT GRANTS
Faculty grants programs serve full-time faculty at CU Denver College of Arts & Media (CAM). The purpose of the CAM Faculty Development Grant (FDG) Program is to:
1.) Support tenure-track/tenured faculty and clinical teaching track faculty in their research, creative and scholarly work, professional development and teaching activities.
2.) Support full-time instructors in their teaching and learning, and professional development.
3.) Increase CAM visibility regionally, nationally and internationally.
4.) Support and prepare faculty to receive competitive national grants by providing seed funding for larger projects, grant-seeking support, and opportunities for peer review.
UPDATE 3/10/2020: NO ORS TRAVEL GRANT MATCH APPLICATIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME.
CU Denver has suspended all work-related domestic and international travel for employees and students. This includes any travel associated with scholarly activities as a CU employee, even if travel is funded by a government grant, foundation, company, or other university. Please see the university's statement in the link below.
CU Denver Coronavirus and Travel Policies Update: https://www.ucdenver.edu/coronavirus/updates/cu-denver-coronavirus-and-travel-policies-update-march-9-2020
If you must travel, all university-related off-campus research and creative activity (RCA) must be approved to be formally considered part of university duties which fall under university liability coverage and workers’ compensation. In addition, international and domestic air travel is currently suspended and approval for critical activities requiring air travel must be obtained before such travel can be initiated.
Any reestablishment of scholarly and creative works must be balanced with the critical importance of establishing equitable and safe protocols to conduct these activities. To apply to conduct off-campus critical university research and creative activities under university coverage requires the completion of the Field/Off-Campus Application and appropriate approvals before activities commence.
