Elizabeth Williams

Liza has an MFA in Theater Directing from the University of Iowa and a PhD in Theater History, Theory and Criticism from CU Boulder. In addition to working as an Instructor in the Film and Television Department at at CU Denver, Liza also works for the Center for Asian Studies at CU Boulder. She has also taught at Colorado State, Naropa University, CU Boulder, The Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, The University of Iowa, Plymouth State University in NH and Marlboro College in Vermont. Liza has worked professionally in theater as a director, lighting and scenic designer, production manager, and in marketing and publicity for over 30 years. She has toured in Europe and throughout the US, and is a founding artistic director of Milagro Theater Company in NYC.
