Michael Grittner is an educator, scenery designer, director, and actor. He has taught courses for Bemidji State University, Community College of Denver, Community College of Aurora, Graceland University, Paradise Valley Community College Scottsdale Community College. His Colorado theatre credits include award recognition in scenery design – for Vanya & Sonia & Masha & Spike at Backstage Theatre (2017 Henry Nomination), Spongebob the Musical at BDT Stage (2022 Marlowe Award), Tarzan at Candlelight Dinner Playhouse (2019 True West Award), Gods’ Ear for The Catamounts (2011 Boulder Camera Eye Award) and Boys in the Band for Vintage Theatre (2019 Henry Nomination). Mr. Grittner is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and a member of the Colorado Theatre Guild.
