Dan earned a scholarship to the University of North Texas where he was able to study and play with notable musicians such as Fred Hamilton, Mike Stern,Joe Diorio,Ron Eschete and Wayne Krantz .At UNT Dan received an education in jazz and classical performance,composition,arranging and barbecue.He has toured all over the country and now lives in Denver, CO where he regularly plays club and theater gigs, does studio work as well as works as an orchestra pit member with the DCPA and CSO.
