Carrie Osgood empowers others to communicate with impact through all they show and say, providing effective solutions to complex storytelling and branding challenges across all media.

After working in Hollywood and professional theater, she earned her master’s degree in Communications Design from Pratt Institute. She honed her design skills at Interbrand, one of the world’s largest brand consultancy firms. She then spent close to a dozen years as a graphic artist, data journalist, editorial supervisor and design director for the Associated Press in New York.

She has a specialty translating controversial issues into a range of written and designed materials, from traditional and interactive narratives, to infographics, original imagery and data visualizations. Notable work includes the U.S. elections, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, Middle East conflicts, and the aftermaths of Hurricane Katrina and Sept. 11 attacks. She also redesigned AP’s visual standards, contributing to the 2012 AP Stylebook.

As Owner & Principal of CLO Communications, her clients range from assorted small businesses to the United Nations and Columbia University’s Earth Institute. Her work has been published in countless news outlets around the world, including The Washington Post, The Guardian, CNN, Forbes, Denver Post and Colorado Sun.

Her accomplishments in design, data storytelling and digital media have been recognized with numerous industry awards, including a nomination for the Pulitzer Prize.
