Media Forensics Alum Receives Excellence in Global Online Protection Award
Scott Anderson MS ‘11 Recognized for INTERPOL Work
CAM Staff Aug 3, 2026The Excellence in Global Online Protection Awards recognized Scott Anderson, a 2011 graduate of the Master of Science in Media Forensics program, with the Most Significant Contribution to the Global Response to Online Sexual Abuse Awardin June. This award recognizes an individual that has made a major contribution towards tackling global online harms in the last year.
“His extensive experience with audio, video, and still image technology has placed him at the forefront of the fight against child sexual abuse and exploitation material,” the awards announced over LinkedIn. “The combination of his professional experiences and academic knowledge has resulted in the creation of the Universal Classification Schema. As one of the lead drivers behind this initiative, Scott has transformed his passion for multimedia analysis into a viable scientific language that follows the rigorous standards of forensic science.”
Anderson is currently a digital media analyst for INTERPOL.
