MEIS DEPARTMENT OPEN HOUSES

The Music & Entertainment Industry Studies (MEIS) Department invites prospective students and parents/guardians to attend one of our Open House events! The MEIS Open Houses take place on campus on each of our audition dates and are the best visit day experiences for prospective music students and parents/families. Each Open House includes these sessions: program overview​, student panel, sitting-in on MEIS classes, lunch with the faculty, and tours of our music facilities and recording studios. Each Open House will run from 9:00am-2:00pm. Here are the 2026-27 Open House date:

• Friday, November 6th - Register Here!
• Friday, February 5th - Register Here!
• Friday, March 12th - Register Here!
  

Students who want to audition on one of these dates, will need to contact the appropriate MEIS faculty member to schedule their auditoin in addition to registering for the open house. Information about audition requirements and scheduling an audition can be found on our MEIS applicant webpage. Applicants can come and go from the Open House events as needed for their audition. 

Prospective music students who would like to visit on a day other than one of the MEIS Open House dates should view our Visit Page for additional visit options and virtual info sessions. We are also available to give individual tours of our music spaces on most weekdays dates with some prior notice.
