MEIS DEPARTMENT OPEN HOUSES

The Music & Entertainment Industry Studies (MEIS) Department invites prospective students and parents/guardians to attend one of our Open House events! The MEIS Open Houses take place on campus on each of our audition dates and are the best visit day experiences for prospective music students. The Open Houses provide prospective students and families with a program overview​, a student panel, the opportunity to sit-in on a MEIS class, lunch with the faculty, and a tour of our music facilities and recording studios. Each Open House will run from 9:00am-2:00pm. Here are the 2025-26 Open House date:

• Friday, December 5th - Register Here!
• Friday, February 6th - Register Here!
• Friday, March 20th - Register Here!
  

Information about audition requirements and scheduling an audition can be found on our MEIS applicant information webpage. Applicants can come and go from the Open House events as needed for their audition. 

If you'd like to visit on a day other than one of the MEIS Open House dates, please see our Visit Page for additional music department tour options, CU Denver Open House dates, and virtual info sessions. We are also available to give individual tours of our music spaces. Most weekday dates will work for individual tours if we are given some notice to plan.
