Edward Tyndall

Assistant Professor

Edward Tyndall’s award-winning films have screened at top international film festivals including the Tribeca and London Film Festivals. His screenplays have won and placed at premiere screenwriting competitions including the Sundance Screenwriters Lab, the Denver Film Festival, the Oaxaca Film Festival and the Austin Film Festival’s Screenwriters Conference. His documentary work has aired on television in the US and Canada and has been distributed internationally. His work features creative collaborations with many industry recognized filmmakers, among them David Lowery ("The Old Man and the Gun," "Pete’s Dragon"), Richard Beymer ("Twin Peaks," "West Side Story"), Jeff Seibenick ("Vice Principals", "Eastbound & Down"), Cheech Marin, and Grammy-nominated Cumbia artist El Dusty. Tyndall served as the Program Coordinator of the Media Production Program at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and as Lead Programmer of the South Texas Cinematheque Screening Series prior to joining the Film and Television Faculty at The University of Colorado Denver.
