Dina Bodaubay graduated from Baiseitova College for Gifted Children in Almaty, Kazakhstan. During her study there, she became a Laureate of Republic Baiseitova Competitions.

In 1992, Bodaubay was the only pianist from Central Asia to be selected to participate in the International Piano competition in Ettlingen, Germany, receiving Urkunde (Diploma). In 1994, she took part in master classes and concerts at the French Piano Institute in Paris at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris where she studied with famous French pianists and composers. In 1996, she completed her studies at Almaty Conservatory, graduating with Honors.

In 1996, Bodaubay received a Presidential Scholarship to study in the United States and in 1998 she completed her Master’s of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. During her time in Cleveland she was a member of the New Piano Ensemble performing works of contemporary composers. In 1999, Bodaubay received a Graduate Assistantship at the University of Colorado Boulder and completed her Doctorate degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy in December of 2005.

Bodaubay’s past performances include: concerts in the US, Germany, France and Kazakhstan, appearances with the Kazakh Symphony Orchestra, Boulder Chamber Orchestra and various chamber ensembles, performances at the American Embassy in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on National Kazakh Television, Embassy of Kazakhstan in Washington D.C., as well as concerts with her sister violinist, Yenlik Weiss.
