Self-Guided Learning Resources
The College of Arts & Media fully supports and encourages the on-going learning efforts of our faculty, staff, and students in all areas and specifically surrounding equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
There are many ways to continue EDI education to be a leader in our CU community. The CU Denver Office of Equity has created learning guides* to help start the conversation and begin your life-long learning process related to EDI with internal and external resources on the following topics:
Bystander Intervention
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) 101
Gender Visibility
Intersectionality
Relationship Violence
These learning guides were created to serve as educational tools for anyone; including, but not limited to, students, staff, faculty, community members, facilitators, academic audiences, etc. Furthermore, those viewing the pages may be persons who have experienced harm and are seeking support and/or those who do this work and are looking for resources to share within their personal and professional circles.
Note*: The content provided in these guides serve as a starting point for you to begin laying the foundations of your DEI learning. While we could customize a training on this topic for you, we highly encourage you to reach out to the office(s)/center(s) listed within each topic to find additional resources, facilitated training opportunities, and learning tools to further your education.
