Chris Webb (BA, University of Colorado) is a lecturer in the Singer/Songwriter program at the University of Colorado at Denver. As an artisan of progressive soundscapes, his presentational techniques include folk, rock and acoustic pop. He has received placements for his compositions in film, TV and advertising including the hit documentary, “Ride the Divide.” His research includes exploring the economic ecosystems within music professions and analyzing income dynamics in the multifaceted world of music. He has performed nationally for almost three decades, showcasing his passion as a skilled songsmith and guitarist, sharing the stage with acts including Gregory Alan Isakov, Trevor Hall and Sister Hazel. In addition to his work at the University of Colorado at Denver, he owns and operates a booking agency called “Colorado Professional Performers (CPP),” has a successful podcast called “Musicians Tip Jar” and is a frequent guest panelist at the Durango Songwriters Expo.
