Ted Reedy received a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance at Brigham Young University and Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from UNC. He has also taught music in public schools for 8 years. Ted is the lead singer of multiple bands in the Denver/Front Range area including Homeslice Band which was voted Denver’s #1 A-list band for 2021. Homeslice is a 9-piece high energy dance band www.homesliceband.com that features dance classics of all contemporary genres. Ted has played numerous opera and musical theater roles with favorites many lead roll credits.
He served as interim head of Musical Theater at UNC for 1 year. He has directed, music directed and choreographed many musicals such as Footloose, Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie, All Shook Up, Smokey Joe’s Café, Swing!, Edges, The Last Five Years and more. Ted has served as a vocal clinician for colleges like UNC, CSU, and CU-Denver, NATS, High schools and Middle schools all over the front range. His students are known for Broadway work such as 1776 the musical, Adams Family Musical, launching music on Spotify and live performances of original music in Boston and NY, as well as placing and winning in yearly national competitions and local NATS competitions. Most of his HS graduating students have made All-State Choir as well as had their choice in top colleges music programs such as NYU, Berklee, Oberlin Conservatory, Shenandoah Conservatory, Carnegie-Melon, Cincinnati Conservatory, BYU, UNCO, CU and more.
