Dylan Kober is a Denver based guitarist, dobro player, educator, and composer. His primary focus at CU Denver is working with all types of students including audition based, performance, and singer-songwriter majors through private instruction and guitar skills courses. Dylan’s musical style ranges from Jazz, Bluegrass, Country, New Acoustic, Neo Soul, and more. He enjoys brining elements of different musical styles together to create something unique and personal for his students and himself.

Outside of teaching Dylan works with a variety of musical projects along the front range and across the country. As a multi-instrumentalist, Dylan performs with many Bluegrass/New Acoustic and Country groups in Colorado including High Lonesome, Slay, Fast Floyd, Kyle O’Brien Band, and more. He has also worked with Dom Flemons and Opera Lafayette in Washington D.C. and has performed alongside Denver Jazz musicians Ed Stephan, Purnell Steen, and Bob Montgomery.
