New Documentary by FITV Faculty Roma Sur and Jessica McGaugh

When the ancient Indian beats of Odissi combine with the rhythms of the West African Djembe and the vibrant Spanish Flamenco, a new kind of sound is born. Jessica McGaugh and Roma Sur have partnered on the new documentary, "Three Worlds, One Stage".

Bollywood Connections: Film & Television in India

Ten Film & Television students, led by Roma Sur, traveled to Mumbai, India to collaborate with India’s top film school to produce bi-lingual short film in “Bollywood”, the movie capital of the eastern hemisphere.

Howie Movshovitz came to Colorado as a VISTA Volunteer (Volunteers in Service to America -- the domestic Peace Corps) and stayed because he liked it. After receiving two advanced degrees from CU-Boulder in English, he began to veer into film. With Linda Williams, Professor Emeritus in Film at Berkeley, Movshovitz made three short films, eventually wrote and co-produced a 12-part documentary series, "Filmmakers" for Rocky Mountain PBS. Movshovitz is film critic for both print and for radio. He married to novelist Janis Hallowell and has a daughter.
