Queens Underground International Film Festival is looking for submissions for our upcoming festival, which includes a virtual Red Carpet Event on Feb 20, 2021 to celebrate Black & Brown History Month and a Film Festival from Apr 9-24, 2021.
Though we will be celebrating Black + Brown History Month, you don't have to be Black + Brown to submit your work. We want to tell YOUR STORY!
We are unique in that we accept a wide array of work: short films, feature-length films, animation, music videos, web series, episodics, dance/music/poetry pieces, trailers, demo reels, recordings of live performances, commercials, student work, etc. We are casting a wide net to receive submissions for our film festival and want to provide a platform for people to share their stories and unique work.
We'd love to promote our festival to your students and alums, and have a special 15% submission fee code for you. Could you pass along this info or point me in the direction to get in touch with your communities?

What is experiential learning? Think internships and you're off to a good start. Experiential learning is a process through which students develop knowledge, skills, and values from direct experiences outside a traditional academic setting.
At CU Denver and CU Anschutz Medical Campus, undergraduate students are building robots, creating documentary films, and developing new imaging techniques to detect cancer. You can be a part of this exciting world of discovery. Research opportunities exist in campus laboratories, studios, and beyond.
The College of Arts & Media is excited to offer students the opportunity to diversify their learning experience by studying in a new and different environment.
Studying abroad gives students the chance to learn about themselves and incorporate different perspectives into their work. CU Denver offers a number of Study Abroad programs for CAM students to choose from. Taking the time to research locations and program specifics will ensure students choose the best program for their needs.
